Does Dream Homes Accept Section 8?
Yes, we do, but only in Dekalb County, Marietta Housing, and through the DCA (Department of Community Affairs) in Georgia. Additionally, we accept out-of-state Section 8 vouchers from North Carolina, Texas, and Florida
Is There A Fee For Dream Homes Services?
Yes, if you are a single applicant, there is an application fee of $95.00, along with a one-time administration fee of $281.00. + If you are applying as a couple, there is an application fee of $95.00 per person, in addition to a one-time administration fee of $381.00.
Do We Work With Open Bankruptcy?
No, we do not accept open bankruptcies at this time. All bankruptcies must be discharged or dismissed for at least 6 months
What Are Your Enrollment Requirements For The 2nd Chance Program?
No open bankruptcy is allowed. Evictions or eviction filings within the last year are accepted. There should be no liens from the IRS. Additionally, applicants must not have any felonies in the last 10 years, or misdemeanors in the last 5 years, and must have no felonies relating to moral turpitude.
Does Dream Homes Provide Monetary Move In Assistance?
No, But we can provide you with resources that do.
Does Dream Homes Offer Credit Repair Services?
No, Dream Homes offers a comprehensive Financial Education program designed to help you manage your finances, save for a rainy day, build your retirement, and improve your credit score.
How Long Is Each Service Offered?
1. 2nd chance program/Rental Assistance- Is a one year service. 2. Lease purchase program is one to five years depending on when each client is ready to purchase the home. 3. Homes buying assistance is up to one year depending on the client.
With The 2nd Chance Program, How Long Does It Takes To Obtain A Home?
The process may take a minimum of 7 to 14 days, depending on each client’s specific situation. Please call us for more information and clarification.
How Long Has Dream Homes Been In Business?
Dream Homes has been operating since 2017, assisting thousands of individuals in securing quality rentals and purchasing homes.
For The 2nd Chance Program, What Areas Are The Homes Located?
We serve the entire metro Atlanta area, extending as far east as Covington, covering all of Gwinnett County, and reaching north to Cobb County, Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, and Roswell. To the south, we go as far as Locust Grove, and to the west, we include Douglasville. We also cover regions in North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, and Tennessee
Do We Assist With Out Of State Relocation?
Yes, we provide assistance to clients relocating to and from Georgia.
Do I have To Make 3 Times The Rent Under The 2nd Chance Program?
Yes, the standard income requirements still apply under the Second Chance Program. The total combined household income must demonstrate at least three times the rent over a 30-day period.
